GOING ONCE, GOING TWICE

SOLD.....And now what!?!?
The house finally sold. We were getting a little worried that as we got closer to crunch time on getting into our new house that this one was just going to be hanging around.

Well, thanks to some hard work from a dedicated realtor and a buyer brought to that realtor from a great friend in dallas (Long Story) it is SOLD!

Thanks to Amber and Shane! Amber is the best realtor ever and shane pulls through on a huge referral.

Oh yes, thanks to Dustin, Brooke, and Bailey for putting up Open House signs too....and baloons :)

BAILEY; NOT SURE? I don't know if she is pouting about moving, ignoring her mom who is telling her to come in the house, or just realized that we will not be getting baloons this sunday afternoon that she wanted to play with after the open house....

Amber surveying the yard and contemplating her next move.....

Or maybe just hoping Bailey would hurry up and mind so she could get her in the bath after a super long day......yes. Posted by Picasa

LUBBOCK TX TO PRAY FOR RAIN

Look close and you will see that there are 2 rainbows. One is very established and the outer ring is barely visible, but there.

Something we havent seen much lately in WT is rain. It is so bad that we are in a "formal" drought. The main water supply for Lubbock is drying up at record speeds. So fast, the local authorities and government are working to process ground water to supplement the need.

Nothing like cotton pesticides and cow dung in your water huh? Maybe Floyd Landis has been testing out some preproduction samples for us; the results could be stunning based on early tests.

Seriously, when we were on vacation last week I was out of touch with what was happening in the world. So, I checked out my trusty old favorite; the Drudge Report. Just when I was expecting to get all the latest on World events from the global media empires, there it was.

LUBBOCK TX TO PRAY FOR RAIN.

Ok, enough said. Anyways, even with this brewing up in the back yard; STILL NO RAIN! Posted by Picasa
